Realcold Storage and Retrieval System

The Storage and Retrieval System (SARs) has been newly developed to compliment the MRT and SRT. Whilst the MRT is capable of storage, retrieval, chilling and freezing all at once, this is only for a limited number of products. On the other hand, our SRT is the most successful single system with unprecedented reliability. Add to this the ability to sort 200 different products (50 at once), different sized products and we believe we have a winner.

The SARs is a X.Y. crane with individual storage bins/shelves on each side of the crane aisle. Its unique control system can operate at sub zero temperatures. This control system developed for the plate freezers can cope with a moving target which is caused by the expansion and contraction of the shelves as temperatures change in the Cold Store. We believe this is the only system of its kind which is specifically designed for very low temperatures.
